God’s Child Foundation was founded by Vinay and Shalini Mehta, a husband and wife duo on May 26, 2006 at Chandigarh, India. There are many reasons which contributed to birthing of this Foundation.

One main reason was that when I (Shalini) realized my relationship with God in Summer 2005, I had this burning desire to read His word and share it with others in the form of revelations that I was getting from God. I was not allowed to do so in the institution where Vinay had served his mentor for more than sixteen years. We were pitiably ignored and not allowed to perform, but there was this hurricane of God’s Word building up in me wanting to just be shared and spoken. Simultaneously, Vinay started realizing the presence of God living in his life in September 2005, and His hands working and moulding him. So we asked God what He planned for us. God inspired and made me write all that was building up in us. We started to write. Finally, Vinay and I were forced out of that institution in November 2005 since the institution members as well as the sadhu who was a regular guest speaker at their gatherings would not allow me to share the same platform with him, God moved us out, and made us realise that He had reserved something Big for us.

God put it in Vinay’s heart to pen and compile our understanding of Him in the form of a magazine by the name of NUPUR (New Understanding of Pure Universal Revelations). I asked God how we were to publish it, we were not well-known writers who would be picked up by a publishing house to publish our experiences. So God spoke to us to open a Foundation through which we were to publish the magazine NUPUR and also outreach to hurting souls all around the world with the word and confidence of God.

Today we are outreaching to thousands of people around the world with NUPUR holding talk sessions and personal counselling sessions with the Word of God

We also outreach to hurting souls and organisations with financial assistance by sharing the donations we receive from precious souls of God who donate after reading NUPUR or hearing the Word of God through us.

Motive behind God’s Child Foundation

After having experienced the peace, calm, a stress free and fun filled new life with God we realised how many of us are missing something so precious in our life and how from an ordinary existence, God has made us aware of the special life He has reserved for us. If we ordinary people could realize how special we are with God by our side so can any child of God, provided they realize their relationship with their ‘Big Daddy’. Also to spread the message that we are a child of the most High God and how with God anyone of us can have a peaceful and abundant life that God has reserved for us.

There is so much anxiety, hopelessness and fear in our society, individuals today irrespective of age, sex and social status, are not aware that the solution to all the above is right there with them all the time. ‘God’ is our only savior, our best friend and our only provider. So our motive is to make people aware of this solution.

A word about the Founders

The founders of God’s Child Foundation are God-motivated qualified professionals with combined professional experience of more than 30 years in the field of Engineering and IT. The zeal to help others, not only because someone is underprivileged, but because all of us are the children of One God is the propelling factor in the hearts of the Founders. Shalini Mehta is a graduate of Delhi University and post graduate diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune. Vinay Mehta is a post-graduate in Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. Both are entrepreneurs running their own company of Software Development and Engineering Services in Chandigarh.
