Christ giving Sermon

Reference Mathew 13:1-9, Mark 4:1-9, Luke 8:4-15

Jesus said- “Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was sowing, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it. Other seed fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun rose, the seedlings were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the seedlings, and they yielded no crop. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it sprouted, grew up, and produced a crop—one bearing thirty-fold, another sixty-fold, and another a hundredfold.”

Explanation

The seeds that dropped on the path, this means consciousness for God does not get awakened in too much noise. Birds devoured those, means; it entered from one ear and went out from the other. Fell on rocky ground means some people hear the Word of God, some understand it, but when it’s time to put it into practice they see they have to renounce attachment to worldly stuff, they leave it. Some fell among thorns means some forget about the Word of God when they go through the trials and turbulence of life. Good soil means the devotee of the inner circle (Peter, John, James, Sri M, Swami Vivekananda and all the inner circle ones). They are the living witness of the Aavatar (God incarnate). They go through poverty, pain, penance, sorrow, misery, exploitation, but keep holding on to His Word. They are the leaders of the world. The world lifts up through their life-it gets the awakening of God. For this Christ says-Unto you is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of Heaven. They alone are eligible for receiving the mystery of God. (As explained by Sri M-the direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa)
